i really really made an effort to fit in and get used to it here but i really hate it. i came to the realization yesterday that the state religion of california, or at least orange county, should be solipsism. i told my mom that each person in california seems to be enclosed in their own bubble and have no notion of anyone or anything outside of that bubble. i hate it!
i’m from the midwest, as i’ve made clear in other posts. people, for the most part, just aren’t like that in the midwest. if someone is coming in the building behind you, you hold the door. if you bump into someone, you say excuse me. hell, if you’re making a right turn, you use your fucking signal!
i’m not stupid enough to say that no one is rude or inconsiderate in illinois but here in california it’s a life style.
the anger swells in my chest on a daily basis….so much so that i feel like i’m slowly wiping days off of the end of my life dealing with this crap.
i hate california…no amount of sunny weather makes it worth living here.
oh…get new glasses today. you can see the deep depression and stress in my face.
