5 am banana muffins…

bears fans from birth to death…

as i’ve broadcast far and wide, my first grandchild is due around march 7th.   it’s a girl and she’ll be named Ailsa Cairenn.  i’m so excited that i can barely contain myself!    haha     the baby girl is probably going to be one of the most well documented and fashionably dressed little munchkins to be born this year!  i have been a crocheting fool and now i’ve made her a newborn tutu. i was going to wait until she was born but the tulle kept calling to me and now that i’ve finally figured out my sewing machine (my 2011 christmas [ ... ]

granddaughter crafts part 1…

i’m so excited that i’ll be a nana in just 4 short (no, really long) months!  i’ve had so many crafts in mind that i’m bouncing from one to another.  i managed to finish one monday night; an elf hat. it does have it’s problems.  i’m not very good at counting stitches and sometimes i mess up a stitch but it looks pretty good.

i’ve recently begun creating a few different sorts of paper crafts (as i like to call them).  i’m having a great time and as a matter fact it’s so fun, i’ve listed the items on etsy and hope someday to make a sale!  LOL i started out with a pattern for mini shaker boxes.  they are very cool looking but not terribly easy to make and i haven’t figured out how to make them look neat.  i think i need a lot more time with these!! i moved on to paper boxes next.  these i LOVE!!  they aren’t terribly difficult to make [ ... ]
