i meant to take a picture but forgot in all of the busy-ness of the evening. kaity finally brought her boyfriend, jay, over for dinner to meet us. i guess he thought we were going to bite or something since it took so long to get him here.

i made tacos, which is usually one of my easiest meals to make but i didn’t think about the fact that i would have to stand by the stove making the corn shells. so i tried to make them early and keep them warm in the oven…not so great. so they turned out only ok.

jay seems like a really nice guy though somewhat quiet and perhaps shy. hopefully they’ll come back again so we can get to know the guy!
