so this evening we’re on our way to kaptol centar to have a dinner and maybe a coffee. we’re driving up ribnjak and waiting to turn on grskovica. at this particular light you can turn left on green after yielding or if you’re patient, you’ll get a green arrow. we were waiting our turn and when we got the green arrow, we had to wait for 2 cars to run their red light. we began our turn and yet another car ran the light, almost hit us and then had the frickin’ nerve to start yelling and gestering at us! only a croatian could have the nads to run a red light and blame it on the guy in the right. i’m really getting sick of this…

nonexistent? myth? i’m beginning to wonder. my ocd is in high gear dealing with the lack of courtesy here.

last night i was in a huge line at new york co. to buy michael jeans a new cool shirt. there is a huge sale going on at this place so it’s packed with savvy shoppers. the line waited patiently to be called to one of two registers. i was waiting for it…the moment when one of the shoppers would cut in line and pretend not to even notice the people behind them. (this happens daily…sometimes more than once. you would think i could get used to it but i can’t stand rude behavior.) what happened but one bratty young girl walked up to the open register before i could move over (after waiting 10 minutes it was finally my turn). the inconsiderate little brat, when i motioned to her about the long line, pretended not to know what i was talking about. the cashiers, probably having cut in line themselves, have not a care. rather than signal to her the huge line waiting, they checked her out.

i’m so sick and tired of this behavior. it’s ridiculous. it shows bad manners. life isn’t fair but rules of common courtesy should apply.
